There are few things worse in life than dealing with a nasty hangover. And I hate to tell you this, but the older they get the worse your hangovers get. But I do have good news; there are preventative measures you can take to tame your hangover the morning after a night out. It takes a little preparation on your part, but trust me it’s worth it not to wake up with a sledgehammer beating in your head and a body that refuses to move from your bed.
Vitamin B has become my hangover savior. It literally works like magic. Before heading out for a night of cocktails and fun, take a Vitamin B Complex. You can buy it at any drugstore in the vitamin aisle. Then when you get home, take another Vitamin B before going to bed.
You also want to make sure to hydrate. The rule of thumb is one glass of water for each drink you have. I won’t lie, it’s pretty easy to forget the one to one rule when you are shaking your booty on the dance floor, so just do the best you can. Regardless of how much water you managed to have while out, always make sure to drink a giant glass before bed. If you can drink two glasses, it is even better.
And when all else fails, eat something greasy. I don’t know if there is actual scientific evidence of this work and to be honest I don’t even care. What I do know is that a burger and fries can work wonders on a hangover. So go ahead and indulge yourself in your time of need.
