First date tips

There are a few ways you can ensure your first date with a potential partner are a success. One of the most important things to remember is to keep the conversation flowing so you do not bore your date. Another important thing to remember is to make useful conversation. Do not just talk about the weather or your surroundings; rather, ask basic questions that help you get to know them, but nothing too personal. Here are some great questions you can ask your date to make sure your time together is exciting and fun!

1. Where did you grow up? Ask where they grew up and what is was like to grow up there? This question can lead to other important questions like what kind of childhood did they have, what they did as children, if they have any siblings, etc.

2. Where did you go to high school? Ask them where they attended high school. This is a great question because it can lead to questions like who were your best friends in school, who was your favorite teacher, what was your favorite class, were you active in high school, did you play any sports, etc.

3. Where do you go to college? This is a great question to ask since you are both in college. This question can lead to many others and can help the two of you see that you have something in common. If anything, two college students can understand the stress and work that comes from a full-time college schedule, and potentially a part-time or full-time job.

These are just three basic questions to bring up on a first date to get to know your date a little better, without scaring them away with questions that are a little too personal.
