College is a busy time in your life. It can be hard enough to organize all you need to have done for your classes and schoolwork. It is nearly impossible to worry about what your skin looks like. It doesn’t have to be complicated though. Here are some easy tips to living the busy college life and still maintaining healthy and fresh skin.

Drink water: Staying hydrated throughout the entire day is one of the best ways to not only feel better and stay healthier, but to have clearer skin. Make it easy for yourself and buy a nice water bottle so you can carry your water with you everywhere. This will guarantee you stay hydrated and your skin will thank you later.

Clean Face: It is all too easy to jump out of bed, throw on some sweats, and head to that 8 AM class. Don’t forget to wash your face! It only takes 30 seconds to 1 minute in the morning. Trust me, you will see the difference when you start your day with a fresh and clean face.

Junk Food: Heard of freshman 15? Don’t be the one to pack on those 15 pounds. Skip the greasy fast food meals and pizza and go for a fresh and healthy salad or a wrap with some fruit. Sure it is okay to indulge sometimes and have a few slices of pizza, but if it is an everyday thing, your skin will let everyone else know. Fresh and healthy foods equal a fresh and healthy face.

Makeup OFF: Do not go to sleep with your makeup on. No matter how tired you are or how late it is, take the time (1 minute tops) to remove the makeup from your face before hitting the pillow.
