Your Perfect Selfie

I usually prefer to be the one taking the picture rather than the one in the picture. But when it comes to the selfie, I just can’t help myself. There is something about taking a selfie that is just so much fun. It probably has to do with the fact that I can make as many silly faces as I want and know that no one will see me. The biggest problem with a selfie is that it can be hard to get a good one. We have all practiced enough to know our good side or what angle makes us look the best, but still capturing the perfect selfie is always tricky.
The tip to getting a good selfie is to always give yourself a once-over before you take your picture. That way you can check to make sure your makeup isn’t smudged and there is no lipstick on your teeth. You also want to make sure to have good lighting, so stay away from anything that’s too dark or too harsh. And while you’re at it, take a look around and make sure that your background is clean. No one is going to notice your pretty smile if they see a pile of laundry lying on your bed behind you. You also want to play around until you find your best angle. Some people look good with the camera up high while others look better in a side shot. Now when it comes to clicking, it’s important to be still. Yes, this can be hard when your arm is outstretched and your hand is shaking, but do the best you can. Then just start clicking away. The more selfies you take, the more you have to choose that perfect shot from. Most importantly, remember to be confident. There is nothing more attractive than a confident woman!
